"Mercy's a wonderful concept, but I find that it gets in the way of punishment."
Zeus is the ruler of the Olympian Gods and the god of storm and thunder. In ancient antiquity, he was well-known for his extramarital affairs and his reputation for dealing out horrific punishments on gods and mortals who defied him. One such punishment he was known for was chaining the Titan Prometheus to a rock that vultures could peck out his liver for all eternity. In recent years, Zeus punished Sabrina Spellman with the duties of Mercury following an accidental bronzing incident concerning Mercury's legendary ice skates.
- Known as Jove and Jupiter to the Romans, Zeus was the son of the Titans Cronus and Rhea and overthrew the Titans to become king of the gods.
